Get Ready for the Big Day!

2-3 Months Before
Make a budget. Use our Prom Budget planner to find out exactly how much you have to spend.
Start shopping for a dress. It's never too early.
New styles arrive as early as November & sell out quickly. Don't forget to buy shoes and any accessories too!
Choose your hairstyle. Book your appointments for hair, makeup, nails, and waxing. Bikini & underarm waxing should be done 2 days before your event. Get a trial appointment for hair & makeup too.
Get a date. Don't wait for a special boy to ask you to Prom. Ask them yourself before another girl does!
Reserve your ride. Decide on how you'll get there. Book transporation.

1 Month Before
Get dress alterations. Plan to have your dress in hand, ready for wearing, a week before you need it. Don't forget to break in those new shoes!
Order your date's boutonniere. Florists are busy at
this time of year, so make sure you order early.
Make a plan. Double check your appointments & reservations for dinner, hair, makeup, limo, florist, etc. Get together with your friends and make sure you're on the same page about times and places, if you're going with other people.

The Big Day!
Don't be late for beauty appointments! Start hair & makeup no later than 1pm. Be dressed by 4:30pm.
Take pictures. Have your parents take photos before
you leave for the evening.
Stay safe and have fun! Phone home at least once before midnight.
